I believe that trust is paramount

in a therapeutic relationship so that clients may feel safe sharing their experiences.

I utilize an Existential-Humanistic perspective to explore how the meanings we make from our experiences affect our view of ourselves, others, and the world. I promote self-reflection to help clients gain awareness of the protective patterns they have developed to cope with distressing experiences and emotions. I also use mindfulness, self-compassion, and strength-based approaches so clients may feel empowered to enact change in their lives.

I value understanding the impact that clients’ identities (e.g., race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, etc.) and cultural/social environments have on their lives.

I have experience working with adults in a variety of settings for concerns related to trauma, military-specific experiences, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, substance use, and life transitions. Whatever you are seeking support for, we can work together to give you new ways of living that promote your growth, authenticity, and healing. I look forward to meeting you.
